ANCC Welcomes Newest Parish: St. Odilia, Fargo, ND

(2/17/12)  On behalf of the parishioners and clergy of the ANCC, Bishop Lucey is overjoyed to announce our newest parish, St. Odilia American National Catholic Church in Fargo, North Dakota.  The pastor is ANCC priest, Rev. Fr. Llewelyn Troska.  The parish’s first Eucharistic celebration will take place on February 26, 2012, the first Sunday of Lent.  For more information, please read the Press Release.

 

ANCC Begins Discernment Conversation for New Worship Community in Sarasota, FL

(2/14/12)  On February 25, 2012, an initial planning meeting will be held to discuss the formation of St. Phoebe by the Sea as an American National Catholic Church in Sarasota.  Bishop Lucey will be available to talk about the ANCC and participate in a community discussion regarding a proposed ANCC parish in Sarasota.   Bishop Lucey will also celebrate Eucharist.   For more information, please read the Press Release.

(11/28/11) The Church announces a daily reflections blog for the Season of Advent.  Beginning on the First Sunday of Advent, Nov. 28, 2011, the postings will run though Christmastide, June 9, 2012.   The blog serves as “mini-retreat” for those wishing to reflect on this wonderful season of preparation and renewal.  Format includes a biblical quote, a brief consideration of the quote, and a recommended action step. American National Catholic Church Announces New Ministry to the Sick and Terminally Ill in Northern Virginia. 

(9/11/11)  A new ministry to the sick and dying has been launched in Northern Virginia. Named after Fr. Mychal Judge, the New York City Fire Department chaplain who lost his life on September 11, 2001, this ministry is under the direction of Deacon William (Bill) Freeman.
